Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic pathways:
1. N2 Certificate with these four subjects:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Plating Structural Steel Drawings
- Platers Trade Theory
OR
2. NCV Level 4 in one of the following:
- Electrical Infrastructure Construction (Electrical and Instrumentation)
- Engineering and Related Design (for other trades)
Minimum of 40% in all subjects
OR
3. Grade 12 (Matric) with:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- Engineering Graphic Design (Drawings)
- Trade Theory subject (Minimum 40% in each)
Additional Requirements
- Medically fit for the working environment
- Must pass a clear security screening
- Valid driver’s licence (if applicable)
- Advantage: Previous experience in an engineering environment
Your Key Responsibilities
As a learnership candidate, you will be required to:
- Complete all training modules within the allocated time
- Attend SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) briefings
- Maintain high work standards and technical specifications
- Participate in risk assessments and enforce safe work procedures
- Provide feedback on your training progress
- Work effectively within teams and contribute to operational goals
- Promote health, safety, and responsible mining practices
