About the TFG YES Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a national initiative that empowers young people through hands-on learning and workplace exposure. At TFG, this means working in leading retail brands under The Foschini Group umbrella.
Participants will:
- Work in real TFG retail store environments
- Receive training in customer service and retail operations
- Gain valuable workplace readiness skills
- Improve their chances of future employment in retail and beyond
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the TFG YES Learnership, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 to 28 years
- Have Matric (preferred but not required)
- Be unemployed and not studying full-time
- Be available full-time from April 2025 to March 2026
- Not have held permanent employment for more than 12 consecutive months
- Not have participated in a YES programme before
- Be able to cover own transport and accommodation costs if necessary
