Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen and Ekurhuleni resident (proof of residence required)
- Have Grade 12 / Matric
- Be computer literate
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Not currently be active on the City of Ekurhuleni HR system
What You Will Learn (Training Phase)
- Participate fully in theoretical learning and practical work
- Adhere to workplace policies and procedures
- Attend all required training sessions
- Complete written assessments and timesheets as required by the employer
- Learn how to handle different customer service situations
Your Responsibilities (Placement Phase)
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
- Assist customers with queries, complaints, and order placements
- Update customer information accurately
- Ensure clear and professional communication
- Work closely with supervisors and team members
- Maintain professionalism and data confidentiality
