About the Role

As a Natural Sciences teacher in the Intersen Phase, you will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning in learners. The role requires commitment to high-quality teaching, student development, and maintaining constructive partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Natural Sciences in line with the school’s academic strategy.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and report on learner performance consistently.
  • Serve as a school brand ambassador by upholding ADvTECH’s values.
  • Carry out administrative duties, health, and safety responsibilities as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (NQF Level 6) plus PGCE or B. Education (Intermediate, Intersen, or Senior Phase).
  • SACE certification and police clearance.
  • 25 years of teaching experience.
  • Computer and digital literacy.
  • First Aid training.
