About the Role
The Cashier will handle customer transactions, process payments, and maintain an organized checkout area. Key Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and record transactions accurately.
- Handle cash, card, and other forms of payment securely.
- Perform basic administrative and till balancing duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the checkout area.
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers.
- Assist with general store operations when required.
- Support a cooperative and team-focused work environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
- Good numerical and computer literacy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.
- Customer-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure.
