The Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) is inviting students to apply for their 2025 bursary programme, specifically aimed at those pursuing Chartered Accountancy qualifications.

Eligible Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting CA stream
- Bachelor of Accounting CA stream
- BCompt
Bursary Coverage:
The bursary will cover the following expenses:
- Tuition fees
- University accommodation
- Meals
- Books
Post-Graduation Requirement:
Bursary recipients will be required to undergo training with AGSA or complete their articles after graduation.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Citizenship: South African citizen.
- Education Level:
- Matric Students: Must achieve a Matric exemption with university entrance and a minimum of 60% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English.
- 1st Year Students: Must achieve a minimum of 60% in Financial Accounting and 60% in Mathematics and English in Matric. Must be entering 2nd year of study in 2025.
- 2nd Year Students: Must achieve a minimum of 60% in Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. Must be entering 3rd year of study in 2025.
- Final Year Students: Must achieve a minimum of 55% in all core modules. Must have acceptance into the CTA programme for postgraduate studies in 2025.
- Fluency: Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership Potential: Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Personal Attributes: Determined, driven, and committed to success.
