The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is inviting unemployed South African graduates residing in Johannesburg to apply for its Internship Programme for the 2024/2025 cycle. This opportunity provides work-based training to help students gain practical experience in their respective fields.

Internship Opportunities:
1. Internship: Revenue (Finance Branch)
- Location: Old Mutual Building, 75 Helen Joseph Street
- Remuneration:
- R9,531.54 per month for those with a qualification of at least 360 credits.
- R3,500.00 per month for students currently enrolled.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with a Diploma in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6).
- Only residents of Johannesburg.
Core Competencies:
- Knowledge of GRAP standards and MFMA regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

2. Internship: Transport Transformation (Transport Branch)

- Remuneration:
- R9,531.54 per month for those with a qualification of at least 360 credits.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with a Diploma in Administration Management or Transport Management (NQF Level 6), or studying towards a Diploma in Transport Engineering.
- Only residents of Johannesburg.

- Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of customer service and problem-solving.
