North-West Department of Community Safety: Learnership Programme 2024/25

The North-West Department of Community Safety invites unemployed South African youth residing in the North West Province to apply for its 2024/2025 Learnership Programme. This program is designed to provide valuable skills and training to unemployed individuals between the ages of 18 and 35.

Location: North West, South Africa
Closing Date: 11 October 2024
Duration: 3 years
Stipend: R3,000 per month

Requirements:

  • Unemployed youth aged 18-35.
  • Grade 12 Certificate or Vocational National Certificate Level 4 (Statement of results not accepted).
  • RSA Identity Document.
  • Police Criminal Clearance Report (issued within the last 3 weeks) from the South African Police Services.
  • Medical report confirming fitness for strenuous exercise/training (from a registered health professional with an official stamp).
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (code 8, 10, or 14) โ€“ Learnerโ€™s license not accepted.
  • No tattoos.
  • Proof of residence (from Municipality or Traditional Council) โ€“ No statements of account accepted.

Important Notes:

  • Applicants who have previously participated in a Public Service learnership will not be considered.
  • Applicants must be under 36 years of age at the time of enrollment.
  • Applications from individuals with post-matric qualifications, including short courses/skills development programs, will not be accepted.
