The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) is recruiting a qualified and motivated individual to provide high-level administrative support to the Office of the CEO. Minimum Requirements

  • A 3-year National Diploma or Degree (minimum 360 credits) in Public Service Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in an Office Management or Executive Support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Sound knowledge of:
    • PFMA and National Treasury Regulations
    • Public Service Regulations and relevant legislation
    • Office administration and document control

Duties and Responsibilities

As the administrative support to the CEO’s Office, you will:

  • Maintain and manage all document flow, filing systems, and records management within the CEO’s office
  • Ensure timeous turnaround of correspondence, manage and monitor document tracking
  • Prepare submissions and handle follow-ups on decisions from governance meetings
  • Provide logistical support for governance structures, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including national and regional offices
  • Transcribe, register, classify, and prioritize incoming and outgoing documents
  • Facilitate the coordination of oversight meetings and ensure compliance with administrative standards
  • Contribute to the internal control processes by ensuring accurate communication and record-keeping
