Job Description
As a Human Resources Intern at Altron, you will be responsible for supporting the HR team in various key functions, offering valuable insights into the HR profession.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment processes (job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling)
- Support the onboarding process (orientation materials, initial training)
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Help with employee engagement initiatives and organizing company events
- Participate in HR projects and research HR best practices
- Assist in developing training materials and programs
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in performance management processes
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team
Requirements:
- National Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Knowledge of South African Labour Laws
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management (Required)
