Magalies Water is offering bursaries for the 2026 academic year to South African youth aged 18-35. Funding is for study at any accredited South African university or TVET college in the fields listed below. Preference goes to previously disadvantaged applicants, women, and people with disabilities.

- Mechanical Engineering: N4-N6 / Diploma (NQF 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (2)
- Electrical Engineering: N4-N6 / Diploma (NQF 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (2)
- Civil Engineering: N4-N6 / Diploma (NQF 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (2)
- Water Care: Diploma (NQF 6) / Advanced Diploma (2)
- Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry: Diploma (NQF 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (2)
- Biotechnology / Microbiology: Diploma (NQF 6) / Bachelor’s Degree (2)
- Financial Accounting: Bachelor’s Degree (2)
Who Can Apply
- South African citizen
- Age 18-35
- Minimum 65% average in Grade 12 (or latest results if already in tertiary)
- Eligible for admission at a registered and accredited institution for 2026
Documents You Must Prepare

- South African ID
- Grade 11 and Matric results if currently in Matric
- Matric certificate if you have completed Matric
