The City of Ekurhuleni invites young and unemployed residents to apply for a Call Centre Learnership aimed at developing vital customer service and communication skills. Stipend: R3,000 per month
Contract Type: Temporary Learnership (SETAs involved)

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen and Ekurhuleni resident (proof of residence required)
  • Have Grade 12 / Matric
  • Be computer literate
  • Have strong communication and customer service skills
  • Be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Not currently be active on the City of Ekurhuleni HR system

What You Will Learn (Training Phase)

  • Participate fully in theoretical learning and practical work
  • Adhere to workplace policies and procedures
  • Attend all required training sessions
  • Complete written assessments and timesheets as required by the employer
  • Learn how to handle different customer service situations

Your Responsibilities (Placement Phase)

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Assist customers with queries, complaints, and order placements
  • Update customer information accurately
  • Ensure clear and professional communication
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members
  • Maintain professionalism and data confidentiality
