What the Learnership Covers
CAPACITI will take you through one of several high-demand IT streams, setting you up with technical and professional skills for long-term career growth. Here are the streams you could be trained in:
- IT Support
- AI and Machine Learning
- Data Fundamentals and Analytics
- Cloud Computing
- Software Development
- Web Development
- Full Stack Development
- Cybersecurity

What Will Be Expected From You
This programme requires full commitment and discipline. If accepted, you’ll need to:
- Attend training Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, for 12 months
- Complete projects, assessments, and workplace tasks on time
- Participate in workshops and activities focused on professional and personal growth
- Communicate professionally with mentors and managers
- Be open to learning, collaboration, and challenging yourself in a supportive environment
Who Can Apply
- South African citizens aged 18 to 34
- Must have completed Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Must be unemployed
- No previous work experience required
- Must be computer literate and familiar with basic IT concepts
- Must have good communication skills
- No criminal record or bad credit history
- Able to commit to the full-time 12-month programme
Experience or qualifications in IT will give you an edge, but they’re not mandatory.
