Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum:
    • 3 to 6 months of client service experience in retail/financial/banking.
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications may be considered in the absence of experience.
  • Ideal:
    • Over 1 year of client service experience in retail/financial/banking.
    • Proven experience in sales and client interaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum:
    • Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational.
  • Ideal:
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field.
    • Finance or Banking certification.

Knowledge:

  • Minimum:
    • Basic calculation skills.
    • Familiarity with retail/consumer service environments.
  • Ideal:
    • Knowledge of Capitec Bank products.
    • Understanding of internal business processes and organizational policies.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).

Conditions of Employment

  • Clear criminal and credit record.
  • Fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system.
