Purpose of the Job
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day administrative support.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and process standards.
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation related to departmental activities.
Key Performance Areas
- Compliance Administration:
- Maintain documentation related to business activities.
- Ensure adherence to internal standards and business goals.
- Office Coordination:
- Manage correspondence, filing, and telephonic queries.
- Maintain confidentiality and assist in follow-ups on outstanding matters.
- Ensure all requests are handled within set timelines.
- Meeting Support:
- Arrange meetings and assist with taking and distributing minutes.
- Maintain a register to track outstanding matters and follow-up plans.
- Document and Records Management:
- Administer records management and filing processes.
- Ensure confidentiality of documents and proper filing.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum:
- Matric or Grade 12 certificate.
- Relevant experience of at least 1 year in an administrative or similar environment.

Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
