What You’ll Do in This Role

As a General Worker, your main job will be to assist truck drivers during loading and offloading. But that’s not all. You’ll also help with basic cleaning and upkeep to ensure safety and cleanliness across the premises.

Your tasks will include:

• Helping drivers load and offload goods safely
• Cleaning the premises and keeping walkways clear
• Reporting any damages or repair needs
• Assisting in maintaining a clean, safe working environment
• Carrying out any other duties as instructed by your supervisor

What You Need to Qualify

To be considered, you’ll need to meet the following minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 certificate
• Physically fit and able to lift, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout your shift
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Have your own reliable transport to and from work
• Clean criminal record
• Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and following safety procedures
• Able to follow instructions, work independently, and stay organised
• Strong team player with good communication skills
