Milk Reception Operator at Clover – Grade 12 Required

Clover is hiring a Milk Reception Operator for its Queensburgh production facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe and accurate receiving, testing, and offloading of raw milk and cream while upholding the highest hygiene and operational standards.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have:

• Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• Experience in milk reception operations (advantageous)
• Ability to pass diagnostic competency assessments
• Basic computer literacy
• Fluent in Business English
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Milk Sampling and Quality Testing

• Sample all raw milk tankers following strict hygiene protocols
• Conduct required lab tests on raw milk samples
• Provide test samples to the laboratory team for analysis

2. Tanker Offloading and Recording

• Offload tankers by connecting the necessary pipelines
• Keep accurate records of all milk and cream received
• Ensure efficient tanker turnaround times to avoid delays

3. Cleaning and Sanitation

• Perform Cleaning In Place (CIP) and Cleaning Out of Place (COP) on equipment and tankers
• Use correct detergent measurements
• Take swab samples post-cleaning for hygiene verification

4. Housekeeping and Safety

• Uphold high standards of workplace hygiene and safety
• Conduct routine safety inspections
• Maintain equipment like stirrers and samplers
