Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 9 or 10 OR NQF Level 1 or 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent)
- Experience: No prior working experience required
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with:
- Cleaning kitchen utensils and equipment
- Supporting catering services for internal meetings and staff needs
- Keeping stock of kitchen utensils and reporting damaged/missing items
- Maintaining hygiene and safety in the kitchen at all times
- Preparing and serving snacks, meals, and beverages (water, tea, coffee, juice, etc.)
- Setting up and clearing dining areas
- Managing food supplies and reporting on waste and losses
- Assisting with the removal and disposal of kitchen waste
