Scholarship Overview
The Ford & Gift of the Givers Scholarship Programme invites applications for the 2025 academic year, targeting talented individuals from disadvantaged communities for studies in:
- Automotive, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering (N4-N6)
- NCV Mechatronics (L2/3/4)
This scholarship aims to facilitate careers in technical and engineering sectors as well as apprenticeships in automotive and manufacturing fields.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must come from an under-resourced community.
- Must be currently in Matric (2024) or have completed Matric.
- Must be studying or intend to study towards a qualification in one of the specified fields.
- Must be enrolled or intend to enroll at a TVET College in South Africa.
- Must not be receiving NSFAS funding.
