The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is looking for a suitable candidate to fill a two (2) permanent Cleaner positions in Lapa Munnik Hospital and Touwsranten CC.

What You’ll Need to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Appropriate cleaning experience
• The ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, overtime, and night duty
• Flexibility to assist in other departments when required

What You’ll Be Responsible For

If appointed, you will:

• Perform effective and safe hygiene and domestic services in the Nursing Component
• Provide support services to the Household Supervisor
• Assist in managing domestic responsibilities in the hospital
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools appropriately
• Uphold the department’s service ethics and cleanliness standards
