HP Inc South Africa Student Funding for 2026

HP Inc South Africa is offering a bursary programme to fund undergraduate students in Computer Science and Engineering fields. This initiative forms part of HP’s commitment to improving digital equity, supporting human rights, and contributing to climate action in South Africa.

The bursary is aimed at helping students who are academically strong and financially in need, particularly those whose skills will support South Africa’s growing technology sector.

Location: South Africa (Nationwide – Public Universities Only)

Who Should Apply

You can apply if you meet all of the following:

  • You are a South African citizen
  • You are currently studying or registered to study for an undergraduate degree in:
    • Computer Science
    • Engineering (any branch, provided it’s offered by a public university)
  • You are enrolled at a public university or university of technology in South Africa

Selection Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Have achieved a minimum average of 65% in their latest exams (June/mid-year)
  • Demonstrate academic excellence and determination
  • Show potential to contribute to the technology industry

Note: Financial need may also be taken into consideration during the selection process.
