HWSETA ETQA Graduate Programme 2024/25

The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for its ETQA (Education and Training Quality Assurance) Internship Programme for the 2024/2025 intake.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience and contribute to the development of skills within the health, social development, and veterinary sectors.

  • Stipend: R10,600 per month

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Degree in one of the following fields:
    • Education
    • Training and Development
    • Social Sciences
    • Health
    • Human Resources Development
    • Or a relevant qualification

  • Developing and implementing the Sector Skills Plan
  • Planning and initiating skills development programmes
  • Monitoring education and training initiatives
  • Identifying workplaces for practical work experience
  • Supporting the development of the National Skills Development Strategy
  • Disbursing levies collected
  • Building strong links with stakeholders and relevant bodies
  • Ensuring the effective and efficient use of public funds in line with the Public Finance Management Act
  • Promoting the employment of persons with disabilities
