The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is offering an exciting opportunity for South African unemployed graduates through its 18-month Internship Programme.
This fixed-term contract is designed to provide valuable workplace experience, explore career paths, and network with professionals in the industry, all while earning a stipend.

Programme Overview:
The IDC Internship Programme includes a comprehensive onboarding process, setting you up for success with accredited learning assets and exposure to the latest online content. Interns will be placed across IDC’s Head Office and regional offices, gaining hands-on experience in their field of study.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be under 35 years of age.
- Effective in both written and verbal communication in English.
- Must not be studying at any other institution.
- Must not be registered or have participated in any previous Learnership or Internship Programme.
- Must have completed a qualification in one of the fields listed below.
Fields of Study:
Interns must hold a qualification in one of the following fields:
- BCom Accounting
- Financial Management (Specialising in Management Accounting)
- Financial Accounting
- BTech Cost & Management Accounting
- Honours in Information Science with a specialization in Knowledge Management
- BCom (Law) or LLB
- Honours in Mathematical Finance / Financial Engineering / Quantitative Risk
- Honours in Finance / Financial Modelling / Actuarial Science / Financial Econometrics / Mathematical Economics
- Diploma in Travel Tourism/Business Travel
- BEng. Industrial Engineering
- BSc Environmental Science
- CTA and Honours in Finance or Accounting
- BCom / BA in Human Resource Management
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resources Management/Development
- BA/BCom in Psychology
- Master’s in Psychology (completed or in progress)
- Diploma/Degree in Information Management or Archival Studies
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics Management / Purchasing
- BSc IT/B.IT
- Degree / Advanced Diploma in Media Studies / Journalism / Communication / Brand Communication
- BCom in Marketing Management / Public Relations / Project Management
