Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity supplier, is offering opportunities through the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. This initiative is aimed at empowering young South Africans with valuable workplace experience while addressing youth unemployment. Successful applicants will be placed across Eskom’s operations in the Investigation and Security Business Unit.

About the Programme
The YES initiative gives young people the chance to gain 12 months of structured workplace experience in an environment that builds practical skills, confidence, and employability. Candidates will be placed in administrative and support roles, contributing to Eskom’s operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18-34 years old.
- Have Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a post-matric certificate or programme (advantageous but not compulsory).
- Not have been permanently employed with a single employer for more than 1 year.
- Not be studying full-time in 2025.
- Not have participated in the YES initiative before.
