Workplace Experience Student Program 2025

Tiger Brands, Africa’s largest listed FMCG manufacturer, is offering a Workplace Experience Student placement in the People (HR) division. This on-site opportunity is designed for graduates or students in HR and Business-related studies to gain practical workplace experience by supporting the Talent, Learning, and Leadership Development (TL&LD) team.

The role provides an excellent platform to build foundational HR skills in administration, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement, while working in one of South Africa’s most dynamic corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate administrative support to the Talent, Learning & Leadership Development (TL&LD) team.
• Assist with scheduling and organising learning and talent events.
• Liaise with stakeholders on attendance, invitations, and event logistics.
• Keep accurate registers of participation and non-attendance.
• Update stakeholders on process changes, system updates, and functional activities.
• Participate in team meetings and encourage stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Contribute towards continuously improving HR administrative processes.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification: Currently pursuing or completed a Business or HR-related degree.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and precision in task execution.
• Ability to prioritise multiple project timelines effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
