Tiger Brands, Africa’s largest listed FMCG manufacturer, is offering a Workplace Experience Student placement in the People (HR) division. This on-site opportunity is designed for graduates or students in HR and Business-related studies to gain practical workplace experience by supporting the Talent, Learning, and Leadership Development (TL&LD) team.
The role provides an excellent platform to build foundational HR skills in administration, event coordination, and stakeholder engagement, while working in one of South Africa’s most dynamic corporate environments.
Location: Germiston, Manna – Gauteng, South Africa

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely and accurate administrative support to the Talent, Learning & Leadership Development (TL&LD) team.
- Assist with scheduling and organising learning and talent events.
- Liaise with stakeholders on attendance, invitations, and event logistics.
- Keep accurate registers of participation and non-attendance.
- Update stakeholders on process changes, system updates, and functional activities.
- Participate in team meetings and encourage stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Contribute towards continuously improving HR administrative processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: Currently pursuing or completed a Business or HR-related degree.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and precision in task execution.
- Ability to prioritise multiple project timelines effectively.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
