Transnet is currently hiring for 13 IT Support Analyst positions across various locations in South Africa. This role involves providing technical support for information technology equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance.

Locations: Pretoria, Ladysmith, Springs, City Deep, Bellville
Position Purpose
The IT Support Analyst will serve as a single point of contact for end-users to receive technical support by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading computer hardware and software.
Key responsibilities
- Ensuring uptime of network connectivity.
- Supporting end-users’ access to servers with basic troubleshooting.
- Managing backup systems for user data.
- Assisting with server configurations (file sharing/printers).
- Implementing ICT security measures.
- Providing technical support services by resolving software/hardware issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Relevant National/Advanced Diploma (NQF 6/7) in Information Systems or Computer Science; A+ and N+ certifications required.
Experience: Minimum five years of experience in desktop support with exposure to Lenovo, HP, Dell PCs; ITIL Foundation Certification is advantageous.
Additional Requirements:
- Driver’s license code 08 and own transport highly desirable
- May require travel to other Transnet sites or outside South Africa
