Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (advantageous)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance position
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Working knowledge of Menutec and Mymarket systems (advantageous)
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and reconciliations
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial control systems and ensure compliance with SOPs
  • Prepare and process cash books, bank reconciliations, and general ledger journals
  • Manage stock control, invoices, sales reconciliations, and profit & loss reports
  • Support the Catering Manager with administrative and financial duties
  • Handle customer bookings, queries, and event requests
  • Compile weekly financial summaries and ensure trading analysis accuracy
  • Reconcile interdepartmental transactions and supplier payments
  • Maintain proper financial recordkeeping and asset register updates
  • Ensure all bookkeeping returns and balance sheets are accurate and up to date
  • Assist with HR administration, client relationships, and cash handling
