What You’ll Do
As a Shop Assistant/Cashier, you will:
- Assist customers with product selection and queries
- Operate tills efficiently (cash, card, lay-bys, refunds)
- Replenish stock and merchandise shelves
- Ensure the store is neat, clean, and presentable
- Monitor stock tagging and loss prevention
- Support stock takes and promotional activities
- Live and apply the Ackermans values daily
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills (English required, other languages a bonus)
- High energy and a go-getter attitude
- Target-driven and willing to take initiative
- A team mindset with strong work ethics
Experience:
- Retail experience is an advantage but not essential
