The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is offering a Learnership Programme for unemployed youth.
This 12-month programme provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience while receiving a monthly stipend as per the Department of Public Service and Administration’s Directive on youth development programmes.

Specific Requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen residing in KwaZulu-Natal.
- Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Educational Requirements:
- NQF Level 02/03:
- AET Level 4/Standard 7/Grade 9/10.
- OR completion of and competence in NQF1/2 in Animal/Plant Production.
- NQF Level 04:
- Grade 12/Standard 10, with passes in English, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences.
- OR completion of and competence in NQF 3 in Animal/Plant Production.
