CETA-Funded Learnership & Short Skills Training Programs for Limpopo Youth

The Limpopo Office of the Premier, in partnership with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) and Northern Technical FET College, invites unemployed South African youth (aged 18–35) to apply for funded skills development and learnership programmes in the construction sector.

These programmes are designed to equip participants with practical, job-ready skills and improve their chances of employment in plumbing, bricklaying, carpentry, electrical work, and construction contracting.

Location: Limpopo Province
Closing Date: 15 April 2025 at 15:30
Stipend: R1,500 (Short Skills) | R2,500 (12-month Learnership)

3-Month Short Skills Programmes (Stipend: R1,500/month)

Each programme accepts 50 learners per district. Candidates must reside in the district where the programme is offered.

1. Plumbing – Mopani District

  • Requirements: Grade 9, Copy of ID

12-Month Learnership in Construction Contracting – Capricorn District

This full-year learnership focuses on developing skills in Construction Contracting and offers a monthly stipend of R2,500.

  • Requirements: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4), ID copy, Proof of residence
