Eskom, South Africa’s leading power utility, is offering Engineer in Training (EIT) opportunities for graduates in Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering. This 24-month structured programme will combine institutional training with on-the-job experience at Eskom operations, preparing participants for a professional career in engineering.

The programme is part of Eskom’s commitment to building a skilled workforce and empowering South Africa’s young professionals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualifications:
    • Fully completed Engineering Degree (B Eng / BSc Eng) in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must be a South African citizen.
    • Must be unemployed and not engaged in full-time studies.
    • Must not have participated in any internship or graduate programme previously.
