This structured programme equips engineering graduates with the technical expertise, leadership exposure, and practical experience needed to take on key responsibilities within SAB’s brewery and utilities operations.

About the Programme
This traineeship is designed as a hands-on, self-study programme that combines technical training, on-the-job exposure, and leadership development. Successful candidates will gain in-depth knowledge of utilities equipment and processes, while applying VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) principles to real business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in brewery utilities projects aligned with programme and business priorities.
- Gain a full understanding of theory, principles, and operation of utilities equipment.
- Diagnose systemic and situational problems, and support troubleshooting activities.
- Apply VPO principles to improve efficiency and operational excellence.
- Take part in utilities team structures, including acting in leadership roles.
- Communicate learnings, insights, and solutions across multiple levels of the business.
Minimum Requirements
- BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Up to 2 years’ utilities experience will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Passion for technical excellence and continuous learning.
