Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Previous experience in a Butchery or Fish Department.
- Completion of the Introduction to Retail Supervision (blue file).

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise Butchery staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and control stock levels, wastage, shrinkage, and damages.
- Train and develop employees continuously.
- Plan and implement sales promotions to drive turnover and growth.
- Control expenses, budgets, and gross margins.
- Prepare fresh meat and fish products daily/weekly.
- Operate butchery equipment including band saw, mincer, boerewors filler, vacuum machine, and wrapping machine.
- Break carcasses, de-bone meat, and manufacture mince, sausages, and boerewors.
- Maintain hygiene, housekeeping, and food safety standards.
- Handle customer service queries professionally and courteously.
- Check and monitor cold chain compliance (temperatures).
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and ensure quality checks.
