About the Learnership
The Plant Production Learnership offers a blend of classroom-based instruction and practical field training to prepare participants for employment or self-employment in the agricultural sector.
Learners will gain foundational knowledge in crop cultivation, soil science, farm management, and sustainable agricultural methods, enabling them to play an active role in South Africa’s food production and rural economy.
Training will take place at the Flavius Mareka TVET College Kroonstad Campus, where learners will have access to qualified instructors and agricultural facilities.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must:
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Hold a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Have a background or interest in agriculture (advantageous).

- A detailed CV.
- Originally certified copies of ID and qualifications (not older than 3 months).
- Proof of residence.
- ID copy of next of kin.
