Role Overview
The primary purpose of this internship is to provide administrative support to the L&D team and the MSFSnA Section. The intern will assist in various tasks related to training and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
- General L&D Administration:
- Assist in organizing Tembo briefings and mandatory MSF onboarding for new staff quarterly.
- Help organize L&D Committee meetings, including documentation and report compilation.
- Follow up on scholarship funding documentation with recipients and ensure proper filing.
- Compile the first draft of the L&D report and share it with the L&D Manager.
- Assist in obtaining documentation for the Skills Report compilation.
- Support logistics and administrative activities for regional training held in South Africa.
- Assist interns with Tembo registration and queries.
- Collect quantitative data for regular and annual reports related to Employment Equity (EE) and Workplace Skills Development (SD) Plans.
- Training & Development:
- Support the organization of logistics and administrative activities for all training activities.
- Aid internal or external facilitators/trainers during training courses.
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities within the section.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology or a relevant qualification in Human Resources.
- No prior work experience required.
Skills and Attributes
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Proactive with a willingness to learn.
- Good team player capable of working under pressure.
- Strong planning, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Remuneration and Resources
- Monthly Stipend: R5,000
