Seriti-Engineering is seeking an Operator FEL (Fixed Term) to join their team at Middelburg Mine Services. The role involves executing production or logistics activities according to the schedule and operating the physical assets, plant, and equipment in line with HSEC requirements, operational standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment, assess onsite conditions, make tactical decisions, and determine appropriate responses.
- Adhere to operational requirements, principles, procedures, and safety standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of events and hazards.
- Respond promptly to various incidents.
- Maintain and secure equipment; ensure scheduled maintenance checks are completed.
- Conduct pre-shift checks and prioritize daily tasks.
- Perform grass cutting and planting in the Rehab area.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Grade 10 with subjects including Math, Science, and English.
- Licenses: Valid machine license for a Front-End Loader and a valid driver’s license.
- Testing: Must pass a Dover test and meet minimum requirements.
- Skills: Proficiency in oral English, in-depth knowledge of mining machinery, and safety regulations.
- Health: Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness.
Advantageous:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience operating a Front-End Loader in a mining environment.
- Training: Competent A, Mining Equipment Training.
