The Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator (OPFA) is inviting TVET College graduates to apply for its Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme.

This programme is aimed at helping students who have completed their N6 qualifications in Financial Management and need practical workplace training to graduate.

What You’ll Be Doing

During the WIL programme, you will be involved in:

  • Assisting with asset management and maintaining financial records
  • Providing clerical support to the finance management team
  • Participating in departmental meetings and supporting administration tasks
  • Scanning and filing payment batches
  • Conducting monthly petty cash counts
  • Capturing and processing creditor invoices
  • Processing monthly journals and reconciliations
  • Compiling financial reports, management accounts, and treasury reports
  • Assisting with internal and external audits
  • Recording all workplace learning activities in your official WIL Logbook
  • Supporting general document preparation and administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must:

  • Have completed an N6 qualification from a recognized TVET College in Financial Management or a related field
  • Be aged between 18 and 35 years
  • Be an unemployed South African citizen
  • Have a letter from your college confirming the completion of theoretical studies
  • Have a Workplace-Based Learning Logbook ready to record your tasks and responsibilities
