Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Valid, unendorsed Code 14 driver’s license with valid PrDP
  • Accuracy/ Attention to detail

  • Prepared to work overtime, weekends, and public Holidays when required
  • Responsible for the vehicle.
  • Day to day inspection of the vehicle and reporting of all faults and serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel
  • Completing vehicle inspection sheet and refuelling of vehicles
  • Loading and off-loading various foods products including pallets
  • Keep the truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
  • Ensure adherence to the Road Traffic Act and ensure the safety of other road users
  • Abide by the regulations as set out in Occupational Health and Safety Act,
  • Abide by company policies and the regulations of the road.
  • Ensuring the vehicles are loaded correctly as well as checking documentation against the loads
  • Ensure that correct quantities and loads are delivered
  • Ensure all proof of deliveries are signed on delivery as well (POD’s, etc)
  • Navigate your way around Gauteng and surrounding areas
  • Maintaining company vehicle in a good condition /good housekeeping
