Financial Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant: CA(SA) - (essential).
  • +5 years relevant post qualification experience in a FinOps orietnated role with proven ability in establishing new financial systems and processes whilst Knowledge and Skills Thorough understanding of Supplier development and commercial fundamentals - (highly preferred).
  • Must have knowledge of advanced accounting principles and Job Objectives Financial Systems & Process Management Implement and maintain financial systems and processes.
  • Develop structured approaches for financial transactions, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Optimise processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage financial activities including account set-ups, reconciliations and income tracking.
  • Monitor balances and transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including recovery of outstanding items.
  • Prepare financial reports across daily, weekly, monthly and annual cycles.
  • Analyse financial data to support performance tracking and decision-making.
  • Develop insights to enhance visibility of financial trends and outcomes.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with internal financial policies and controls.
  • Balance compliance with operational efficiency.
  • Engage stakeholders to align on financial processes and requirements.
  • Support business teams with financial inputs, reporting and insights.
  • Collaborate to ensure consistent and accurate financial delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
