Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- N2 Mechanical Engineering certificate would be advantageous
- Lubrication certification/training advantageous
- In-house training in lubrication and maintenance work of oil sampling and identifying lubricants.
- 2 years’ Requirements or operational needs, and collecting oil and lubricant samples for analysis to support equipment reliability, condition monitoring, and preventative maintenance initiatives. Experience on lubrication & Mechanical equipment maintenance in processing Plant on mining industry or similar environment
- Driver’s License.
- EMS, QMS, On key and other System skills.

- Execution of Maintenance
- Inspect lubrication systems for proper operation.
- Lubricate plant equipment by adhering to lubrication schedules.
- Ensure correct lubricant grades and quantities are used.
- Monitor oil levels, temperatures, leaks, and contamination.
- Perform planned and un-planned maintenance activities in a timeous and cost effective manner to the correct standard.
- Provide feedback to the Fitter/Foreman on the execution of work for Continuous Improvement.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Assist with other maintenance activities as requested.
- Communication and Reporting
- Participate meaningfully in the departmental INVOCOMs. Achieve engineering Key Performance Indicators. Provide input into interdepartmental INVOCOMs. Report factors, incidents and accidents that pose a business risk.
