SBV invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month YES Learnership Programme in Midrand, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify all required documentation (ID, SBV laser card, cash movement receipt book, etc.).
  • Monitor the proper loading, transportation, and off-loading of cash in fixed denominations.
  • Ensure the integrity of specie bags by inspecting them for damage and correct sealing.
  • Maintain dual control when counting and handling cash.
  • Secure cash by locking the cargo area when loading and offloading.
  • Transport specie using a trolley and adhere to all security protocols.
  • Follow banking SOPs when entering branches and conducting transactions.
  • Obtain authorization from base for any unforeseen events or changes to orders/deposits.
  • Assist the Treasury Custodian in receiving, counting, and paying out specie and notes.
  • Ensure accurate weighing and packing of coins for distribution.
  • Support daily operations to align with business objectives and maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Must be unemployed and have no prior YES learnership experience.
  • No criminal record.
  • Cannot be currently enrolled in another learnership.
