Minimum Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic pathways:

1. N2 Certificate with these four subjects:

  • Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Plating Structural Steel Drawings
  • Platers Trade Theory

OR

2. NCV Level 4 in one of the following:

  • Electrical Infrastructure Construction (Electrical and Instrumentation)
  • Engineering and Related Design (for other trades)
    Minimum of 40% in all subjects

OR

3. Grade 12 (Matric) with:

  • Mathematics
  • Physical Science
  • Engineering Graphic Design (Drawings)
  • Trade Theory subject (Minimum 40% in each)

Additional Requirements

  • Medically fit for the working environment
  • Must pass a clear security screening
  • Valid driver’s licence (if applicable)
  • Advantage: Previous experience in an engineering environment

Your Key Responsibilities

As a learnership candidate, you will be required to:

  • Complete all training modules within the allocated time
  • Attend SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) briefings
  • Maintain high work standards and technical specifications
  • Participate in risk assessments and enforce safe work procedures
  • Provide feedback on your training progress
  • Work effectively within teams and contribute to operational goals
  • Promote health, safety, and responsible mining practices
