South Africa Department of Tourism Bursary 2025

Applications are now open for the South Africa Department of Tourism Bursary for 2025. This bursary aims to support South African students pursuing higher education in designated fields.

Closing Date for Applications: 13 December 2024

    Eligible Fields of Study

    Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following fields:

    • Digital Technologies
    • Development Studies
    • Economics
    • International Relations
    • Migration Studies
    • Policy Development
    • Risk Management / Ethics / Integrity / Business Continuity Management
    • Graphic Design
    • Social Science
    • Tourism Development
    • Tourism Marketing

    Bursary Conditions

    • The bursary will cover the remainder of the study period.
    • It is renewable annually based on academic progress.
    • Successful candidates are required to enter into a contractual obligation with the Department.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • This bursary is not available to current staff members of the Department of Tourism.

    • Complete the application using block letters.
    • Provide concise answers; where applicable, mark accordingly.

    Applicants must attach copies of required documents as indicated in the application guidelines (certified copies will be required post-selection).
