Step 1: Receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
Your Australian university must issue a CoE, which is required for your visa application.
Step 2: Meet Financial & English Language Requirements
You must prove you have at least AUD 24,505 per year to cover tuition and living expenses. You may also need to take an IELTS or PTE test to prove English proficiency.
Step 3: Apply Online for a Student Visa
Submit your application through the Department of Home Affairs website and pay the visa fee of AUD 710.
Step 4: Complete a Health Examination & Provide Biometrics
Some students must undergo medical checks and submit biometric data.
Step 5: Receive Your Visa & Prepare for Travel
If approved, your visa will allow you to enter Australia and begin your studies. You can also work up to 48 hours per fortnight while studying.
