This programme will equip you with key supply chain skills, from inventory forecasting to vendor compliance, setting you up for long-term success in the retail or FMCG industries.

Minimum Requirements

- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement
- Must be a South African citizen
- Clear criminal and credit records
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Must not be employed or part of another graduate programme

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Vendor and Contract Management
- Assist in creating and updating vendor agreements
- Track contract renewals and compliance in collaboration with legal teams
- Support planning and coordination of vendor meetings
Inventory Planning and Replenishment
- Monitor and replenish stock into Distribution Centres
- Track deliveries and maintain day’s stock cover
- Minimise out-of-stock scenarios and manage back orders
Stock Management
- Manage short-dated and expired stock with actionable follow-ups
- Review dormant stock reports and initiate transfers where necessary
- Submit write-off recommendations and coordinate returns to vendors
Systems and Data Management
- Approve new SKUs and ensure data integrity with Master Data team
- Update trade terms, wholesale agreements, and pricing information
- Resolve supplier queries, credit notes, and pricing issues
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain positive vendor relations
- Liaise with internal teams about supply issues, returns, and claims
- Log and resolve urgent inventory heat calls daily
