Requirements
Applicants must be South African citizens who have completed or are in the final year of their studies in one of the following disciplines:
- BEng / BSc Eng in: Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering, Radio Frequency, Embedded Systems, Power Systems
- BSc (Hons) in: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics
- BEng / BSc Eng in: Mechanical Engineering
- BEng / BSc in: Computer Science
- BEng / BSc Eng in: Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Draughting, Civil Engineering
- BSc (Hons) in: Information Technology
- BEng in: Industrial Engineering
Important Notes
- Shortlisted candidates must complete a mandatory online assessment as part of the selection process.
- Successful graduates will be placed at SARAO offices in Cape Town and Hartebeesthoek (HartRAO) for a period of 3 years, starting in January 2025.
- SARAO offers financial assistance to successful graduates who wish to pursue a part-time Masters degree at a South African university during the program.
