The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) is inviting graduates who are committed to human rights to apply for an Admin Internship at its Eastern Cape Provincial Office. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about administration, governance, and human rights advocacy.

Location: Eastern Cape Provincial Office
Stipend: R7 918.21 per month
Duration: Six (6) months
Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must have:
- A Diploma in Administration / Secretarial Studies
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Email, and Internet)
- Familiarity with SAP
- Understanding of confidentiality requirements
- Knowledge of general office administration
Key Responsibilities
The successful intern will assist with administrative support within the provincial office, including:
Reception & Communication:
- Manage telephone calls professionally and efficiently.
- Welcome and direct visitors to the appropriate office.
Procurement & Office Maintenance:
- Assist in procuring goods and services for the office.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Keep an inventory of office supplies and groceries.
Document & Records Management:
- Assist with document filing, scanning, and data management.
- Keep track of incoming and outgoing mail and distribute accordingly.
- Maintain proper records of office resources.
Administrative Support:
- Provide assistance with diary management and scheduling.
- Support in meeting preparations, including minute-taking.
- Facilitate staff transport requisitions.
- Manage bookings for boardrooms and other office spaces.
