Who Should Apply?
This internship is perfect for unemployed South African youth who meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen aged 18 to 35
- Completed an IT Diploma or Degree
- Not currently employed
- No previous participation in a YES programme
- Passionate about starting a career in cybersecurity
Minimum Requirements
- Completed qualification in Information Technology (Diploma or Degree)
- At least 50% in Pure Mathematics and English in Matric
- Studied Physical Science in high school (advantageous)
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Cybersecurity team, you will:
- Perform daily health checks for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems
- Manage user lifecycles: creation, modification, deletion of accounts
- Conduct monthly access reviews to ensure only necessary permissions are active
- Assist with access remediation to align with least privilege principles
