Transnet invites unemployed youth to apply for their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Learnership Programme for the 2024/2025 academic year. This program provides valuable opportunities for both technical and non-technical trainees to gain practical workplace experience over a duration of 12 months.

Responsibilities

As a Work Integrated Learner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Shadowing various staff members and participating in learning experiences.
  • Attending meetings and workshops to gain exposure to multiple functions within procurement.
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and keeping them updated on progress.
  • Serving as the central contact point for supplier and end-user queries, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Providing general administrative support, research, and assistance.
  • Producing reports in MS Office Word and/or PowerPoint that clearly communicate deliverables.
