What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment both inside and outside campus buildings. You will be expected to carry out a wide range of physical cleaning tasks across university facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of offices, classrooms, corridors, laboratories, kitchens, and ablution areas
- Refuse collection and disposal
- Moving and arranging furniture
- Cleaning windows and deep-cleaning floors
- Operating minor cleaning machinery and equipment
- Supporting maintenance duties where necessary
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 8 school certificate
- At least 1 year of experience in the cleaning industry
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Familiarity with the use and operation of basic cleaning tools and machines
